Did you get caught up in the excitement of the Brazil World Cup? Or has the hype passed you by?
Unfortunately as someone that has already called on FIFA to use its influence to help end modern slavery being fuelled by the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, you know that the beautiful game has an ugly side.
We now need your support on another World Cup-related issue: will you join us in calling on the UK Foreign Secretary to help stop the sexual abuse of children in tourism?
Right now, in the shadows of football stadiums and hotels throughout Brazil, thousands of children suffer the horrors of sexual slavery in silence — often at the hands of foreign travellers. This has to stop: and we’re starting with the UK, where the government has pledged to bring offenders to justice — but the time has now come for action.
